Structural Amelioration of Soils for Sustainable Land Management

The aim of this study is to determine the effects structural soil restoration on buffering capacities these soils, their productivity, and efficiency use as a basis for sustainable management. Based review literature sources our own experimental research, proposed article shows possibility improving sod-podzolic cohesive sandy soils through amelioration an effective measure protect them from degradation ensure resilience climate change. ameliorants (clay peat) in studied improves granulometric composition, has positive effect pH-buffering capacities, contributes optimizing moisture capacity soil. It was found that application increases significantly with local method (e.g., clay dose 10 t/ha or combined 2 lowland peat 3 t/ha). largest yield increase winter wheat (27.2%) achieved by t/ha.
